I'd like to thank all who contributed throughout 2009 and to our End of Year Campaign. Your generosity allowed us to provide the following to children throughout Lake County:
Big Brother or Big Sister (recruitment, screening, background checks, & match support)
Transportation to a program, museum, forest preserve, professional sporting event, etc.
Supplies (school supplies, program supplies, board games, etc.)
Snacks
As a result of your donations, children in our program:
Increased their attendance at school resulting in better academic performance
Have a positive sense of the future
Avoided risk taking behaviors such as drugs & alcohol abuse and violence
Have respect for cultures other than their own
Have a better relationship with their family, peers, and adults

Brad Miller - #52 - Center for our beloved Chicago Bulls, has generously donated 25 tickets to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County for each of nine (9) Bulls home games this season! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lake County is proud and very thankful for being a part of "Brad Miller's Area 52" this year. Brad has a special relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters as he is a former Little Brother of the Fort Wayne, Indiana agency. Brad has been a supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters throughout his career as an NBA player. He has participated in charity golf events and has taken many children shopping for Christmas gifts during the holiday season. We commend Brad for his dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters and for remembering the impact his Big Brother had on his life. Thank you very much #52 - Go Bulls!
